I used a playing card quite similar when creating my collage, I thought it would look good but it also reflected me as a person as I love playing cards.

I really Find Schwitters, collage work fascinating, the fact he collected bits of ruin and rubbish from the streets to create his work, it shows more thought in a sense trying to make a political point. The over lay of of different texture and things is just visually appealing and eye catching. He even goes as far as creating 3D collages with objects involved.
